KOOKSOONDANG considers people first before we brew alcoholic beverages.
Since the establishment of Kook (麴, meaning Nuruk, yeast), Soon (醇, meaning good alcoholic beverages), and Dang (堂, meaning house) as a brewery in 1952, we have consistently developed quality alcoholic beverages to satisfy the taste of the people through the years. We have preserved the unique production method of Nuruk, the fundamental element of the Korean traditional alcoholic beverages.
Our signature products are the ‘KOOKSOONDANG Makgeolli’ series and ‘BEKSEJU’ and all of KOOKSOONDANG’s alcoholic beverages contain culture and emotion in line with our slogan ‘transformation of our tradition for today.’
KOOKSOONDANG is the No. 1 exporter of Korean alcoholic beverage, and is recognized as one of the representative alcoholic drink producers in South Korea.
